Our Firm:

Founded in 1998, Sampson & Slechter, PLLC is a small law firm devoted to protecting the rights of individuals-and never insurance companies-in personal injury cases. We represent clients statewide in cases involving nursing home neglect, car accidents, truck accidents, product liability, premises liability and workers' compensation.

We have built our practice, and our reputation in the legal community, upon our willingness to aggressively litigate cases and take them to trial whenever necessary. In fact, the Kentucky Trial Court Review has repeatedly listed Jeffrey T. Sampson and Mat A. Slechter among its "Most Prolific Trial Attorneys in Kentucky" over the past decade.

Jeffrey T. Sampson and Mat A. Slechter became friends in the first grade, and reconnected years later at the University of Louisville School of Law. Upon graduation in 1992, Mr. Sampson and Mr. Slechter joined different law firms, where they represented a variety of clients, including large insurance companies. They formed their own law firm in 1998, and since that time have focused their efforts exclusively on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
